I’m not a huge fan of these infographics that are just numbers and clipart, but the name of the blog is ChartPORN — so I suppose I have to post it anyway.

A new study visualizes the effects of drug use on your brain using SPECT scans. Interesting — though the footnote “colors do not have significant meaning” dilutes the impact quite a bit.

Okcupid has beautifully abused their users’ profiles again for some entertaining statistical analysis. This time they extracted unique keywords from profile description by race – and as usual, the commentary is priceless:

If I had to choose over-arching themes for white people’s lists, for men, I’d go with "frat house" and for women, "escapism." Whether one begot the other is a question I’ll leave to the reader.

OkCupid is at it again. This time comparing user attractiveness to photo EXIF data. Findings? Panasonics will make you look better than Canons or Nikons. Iphone users have more sex. Using a flash adds 7 years to your appearance. Lower f-stops make you prettier. Taking pictures during the “golden hour” is not a myth. Have I mentioned that I love that blog?!?
