Daniel Rathbone created this tool to aggregate used car prices from Craigslist. Besides being a useful way to shop for cars, it’s also interesting to see how different brands and models hold up in value over time. For example, check out the Accord vs Corvette below.

regarding the second comment, it’s true – the scales are auto-fitted for each graph. I do plan to add a comparison feature, where you’ll be able to see data for two makes/models on the same graph, with the same scales, of course.
Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Meh. It’d be more useful to see the percent of original car value per year.

completely misleading to compare those two graphs. Your scales are wildly different on both axes.
