A nice interactive exploration of America’s health based on 42 different indicators. One minor complaint: There’s no data for Washington, DC (where I live).
Its not that good as a visualization: the 3D effect is a very poor way to show absolute or relative position on a scale.
I’d have chosen a colouring and given the user a choice of rank or absolute value to display (or perhaps absolute value for colour scale, with rank as number in state map).
3D maps like this are like those horrible 3D charts Excel likes to tempt you with, but even worse in functionality.
