Carbon Dioxide … They call it pollution – we call it life.
Frankly, I am a hell of a lot more concerned about the long-lived toxics – the lead and mercury that are killing our planet than this chicken-little bs that has been cooked up to scare the masses into forgetting about the REAL environmental issues.
Sure, Global Climate Change will result in some changes – but none of them are anywhere near as bad as the oppression and poverty that will result from a ham-fisted attempt to regulate something like this.
The worst, most environmentally irresponsible thing that can be done at this point is to attempt to interfere by depriving others. Poverty has always bred bad environmental policy, and probably always will. Instead, what should be done is to find out what benefits a very slightly warmer globe may have, and provide valuable scientific insight – trying to maintain the status quo is silly, but if one can predict where the best arable lands will be in 50 years, that is information that can be put to positive use!

This is an environmental issue. We must be considered of our planet. Greenhouse gases? We must get rid of it.
