Pretty crazy how many changes happened in the last 1000 years, compared to the (relative) stability of recent history.

I’ve always heard the “most stable” borders in Europe are those of Portugal and Switzerland, but you don’t really “get” that until you see this video. Bravo to the creators!

Crazy how powerful Russia become out of nowhere! Imagine how many lives were lost in wars over all these changes in 1000 years…
