Google Foreclosure Maps

In: Housing Maps

If you select map type “More…/Real Estate”, and check “Foreclosure” as the listing type, Google will map out all the foreclosures for you.  Every dot in the below map is a foreclosure in the Washington DC region (yikes!).

Those are just the ones that have completed the foreclosure process and are on the market. You should see the maps with “pre-foreclosure” and notices of default…

Check out for coverage of the immense number of distressed mortgages due to enter foreclosure. 2011 could be a real estate bloodbath.

This doesnt seem to work I question this article all together.
If you search for realestate- it does not mean all houses coming up are being forecloed on. Seems like streeching truth – or tuthiness :)

This was a cool feature while it lasted. Google considered this project a failure and shut it down on Feb 10th, 2011.
