The Market Share chart is misleading. It appears that iOS and Android started at 100% and have declined while Macintosh has a larger share than PC being at 100%. If this is meant to be a representation of the total amount of market share then they have mis-labeled the axis’s. Overall this chart could have been made better.

It’s interesting to note that once a new technology comes along, such as Android and iOS that the old technology has quickly fallen away. I don’t think this will happen with PC’s, they’re much more powerful than phones and will continue to have a place in the market.
Still very interesting though.

Why is it comparing Android and iOS with PC or Macintosh? They seem to be as related as my TV is to my computer. Nobody replaced their Computer/Laptop with a mobile device. No matter how much I enjoy my iPad it does not replace the Laptop.
