this does not say what the data in other countries is measuring– their minimum wage? their average wage? their average wage for hourly employees?
I could come up with a longer list of possibilities.
Moreover, is it converted at the current exchange rate or some form of purchasing power parity.
This is a poor chart because such comparisons can be easily manipulated. So it is important to know exactly what is being compared.
