I know it’s difficult, but you should mark your charts “subscriber only” when possible. I’ve run across several charts from FT recently that came up that way when I clicked on them.
I have the same problem with my blog, by the way. It’s hard to keep current.
No, that’s a good point. I’ve noticed that this happens sometimes (with the FT and WSJ in particular). There are two ways around it:
1) Register (sometimes it’s free)
2) Copy and paste the title of the source graphic article into google and then follow that link. The news sources usually don’t filter traffic originating from google.
