Thanks for the post Dustin. This is an interesting summary of economic indicators.

The most significant driver to the world’s economy is the US unemployment report. The report is put out the first Friday of each month by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

I recently created a dashboard of unemployment in the US, based on the BLS’ data. The dashboard placed 2nd in an International dashboard competition sponsored by XLCubed and judged by Information Visualization expert Stephen Few.
